His droopy face is due to an accident with a forceps at the moment of his birth. Nerves were cut when the accident occurred, and caused him to have the ability to speak with a slur. Stallone had a difficult childhood. He and his older brother, Frank was afflicted by their parents' savage relationship. It eventually ended by divorce. Stallone was a child as a foster child. Stallone aged 5 years old at the time, took his family with him to Washington, D.C., the city where his father had his own chain of beauty salons. Stallone was a resident of Maryland for years, staying with his father after his parents' divorce in 1957.
